Mission Overview

The “Stronger Together” missionwas Rocket Lab’s secondElectron mission from itsdedicated launch pad at RocketLab ɫ Complex 2 (LC-2) onWallops Island, Virginia.

The launch was a dedicated mission for Capella Space, aleading U.S. satellite manufacturer and Earthobservation company. “Stronger Together” will deliverto orbit two more Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)satellites that enable Capella Space to deliver thehighest quality, highest resolution SAR imagerycommercially available with the fastest order-to deliverytime, empowering organizations across thepublic and private sector to make informed, accuratedecisions.

“Stronger Together” was Capella Space’s second launchwith Rocket Lab on Electron and its first from Rocket Labɫ Complex 2 in Virginia. Supporting Rocket Lab’svertical integration strategy, Rocket Lab also supplied Capella Space with two of Rocket Lab’s own MotorizedLightbands; separation systems designed to separate theCapella satellites from Electron once in orbit.
